Atlas Ocean Voyages’ ever-expanding fleet of ultra-modern expedition yachts includes World Navigator, World Traveller, and World Voyager, with World Adventurer and World Discoverer scheduled to launch in the near future.
Atlas’ expedition yachts feature the latest hybrid power management and propulsion systems, which maximise fuel efficiency and consume as little as one-fifth of the fuel used by conventional cruise ship systems.
The hydro-jet propulsion systems reduce underwater noise, enabling the ships to cruise almost silently at speeds of up to 5 knots to protect surrounding marine life and encourage close encounters, while conserving the ecosystem. The yachts also avoid using anchors, instead employing a GPS-based Dynamic Positioning System to further safeguard the ocean floor’s delicate ecosystem.
