Cunard’s New 2028 Voyages: Discover Iconic Sailings & The Historic Four Queens Celebration

Cunard unveils its 2028 voyage collection

Luxury cruise line Cunard has officially revealed its highly anticipated new voyage collection sailing from April 2028 to January 2029 - and it’s shaping up to be one of its most exciting programmes yet.

Designed around discovery, celebration and unforgettable moments at sea, this new season offers travellers the chance to explore the world in true Cunard style. From iconic Transatlantic Crossings to sun-soaked Mediterranean escapes and Northern European adventures, the programme blends timeless elegance with modern exploration.

The four Queens celebration: a historic first

The standout highlight of Cunard’s 2028 programme is undoubtedly The Four Queens Celebration.

For the first time in history, all four Cunard ships -

  • Queen Mary 2
  • Queen Victoria
  • Queen Elizabeth
  • Queen Anne

will come together in Liverpool in May 2028.

This landmark event celebrates Cunard’s deep-rooted heritage with the city and will feature:

  • Special onboard events and gala evenings
  • A spectacular gathering on the River Mersey
  • A rare opportunity to witness all four Queens together

It’s a true bucket-list moment for cruise enthusiasts and a defining highlight of the 2028 cruise calendar.

Where can you sail in 2028?

Cunard’s new voyages span 125 destinations across 36 countries, offering incredible variety for every type of traveller.

Transatlantic Crossings

Experience the golden age of ocean travel aboard Queen Mary 2, the world’s only ocean liner, sailing between New York and Southampton.

Mediterranean Cruises

Discover iconic ports like Barcelona, Rome and hidden gems across Greece, Croatia and Turkey, with extended stays and late departures.

Northern Europe & Norwegian Fjords

Sail through dramatic fjords, Arctic landscapes and Scandinavian capitals, with opportunities to witness the Northern Lights.

Canada & New England

Enjoy autumn colours and historic ports, including overnight stays in Quebec City and Independence Day celebrations in Boston.

Caribbean & Festive Voyages

Escape winter with Caribbean sailings or celebrate Christmas and New Year at sea with Cunard’s signature elegance.

Cunard ships: what to expect on board

Each Cunard Queen offers a distinct experience, yet all share the brand’s hallmark White Star Service, fine dining and enrichment programmes.

Queen Mary 2 – Iconic Transatlantic voyages and global itineraries

Queen Victoria – European exploration with overnight port stays

Queen Elizabeth – Mediterranean immersion with cultural depth

Queen Anne – Modern luxury with shorter, flexible itineraries

Guests can expect:

  • World-class dining and regional cuisine
  • Cunard Insights speaker programmes
  • Wellness experiences inspired by the ocean
  • Evening entertainment, gala nights and theatre

More time ashore: overnight & late departures

One of the biggest trends in Cunard’s 2028 programme is longer stays in port, allowing deeper destination experiences.

Overnight and late-evening calls include destinations such as:

  • Reykjavík
  • Stockholm
  • Istanbul
  • Amsterdam

This means more time for evening dining, cultural exploration and immersive excursions.

New & returning destinations

The 2028 season also introduces maiden port calls and long-awaited returns, including destinations not visited in over a decade.

Highlights include:

  • First-time calls in parts of Italy and Norway
  • Rare returns to ports across Europe and the Mediterranean
  • Access to nearly 100 UNESCO World Heritage sites

Why choose Cunard in 2028?

Cunard continues to stand apart in the cruise industry by offering a unique blend of heritage, luxury and destination-rich itineraries.

In 2028, that experience is elevated further with:

  • A once in a lifetime fleet gathering
  • More overnight stays than ever before
  • A diverse range of global itineraries
  • Signature British elegance at sea

Cunard’s 2028 voyage collection is more than just a cruise programme - it’s an invitation to be part of maritime history.

Whether you’re drawn to the glamour of a Transatlantic Crossing, the beauty of the Mediterranean or the spectacle of the Four Queens gathering in Liverpool, this season delivers unforgettable travel experiences.
