Viking Venus, launched in 2021, is a continuation of Viking’s successful ocean fleet, offering a sleek and elegant cruising experience with an emphasis on relaxation and cultural enrichment. This ship follows the design ethos of Viking’s earlier vessels, featuring modern interiors with an abundance of natural light and open, airy spaces. Like the other ships in the fleet, Viking Venus accommodates only 930 guests, ensuring that the experience feels personal and exclusive.

Guests can enjoy spacious staterooms with private verandas, perfect for watching the ocean go by. The ship’s Aquavit Terrace, a popular outdoor space at the back of the ship, is ideal for relaxing with a drink or enjoying a meal in a relaxed yet stylish setting. Onboard dining on Viking Venus is a culinary delight, with a wide array of options available throughout the voyage. Guests can enjoy elegant meals at Manfredi’s Italian Restaurant, offering regional Italian flavors, or indulge in fresh, local dishes at The Chef’s Table. The World Café serves a wide variety of international dishes, and The Restaurant provides a more refined dining experience with regionally inspired meals.

The LivNordic Spa offers traditional Nordic wellness treatments, from saunas to hot stone massages, and features a relaxing snow grotto and hydrotherapy pool. Viking Venus also offers immersive cultural programming, including live performances, lectures, and even a planetarium experience in the Star Theatre. With a focus on enriching travel and elegant relaxation, Viking Venus provides an unforgettable journey on the seas.

When you yearn for serenity, there is no better place on ship than a visit to the Wintergarden. This charming, airy space around the main pool is perfect for relaxing in clean, uncluttered Scandinavian-designed environment. Even here, our focus is on enrichment, as this is the place to witness a tea ceremony, or indulge in an afternoon tea service, complete with hand-selected teas, finger sandwiches and pastries.

Blending the rejuvenating experience of Nordic therapies with the restorative power of the sea, Viking have reinvented the spa experience; drawing upon the holistic wellness philosophy of Nordic culture. To stimulate your circulatory system visit the snow grotto where snowflakes gently descend from the ceiling through chilled air, then invigorate yourself in the sauna, following a centuries-old Nordic tradition.

Bright and beautiful, The Spa is a destination in its own right. A sanctuary for body and soul, float in the gently bubbling water of the hydrotherapy pool, warmed by the sight of flickering flames of a full-length fireplace. Recline on a heated ceramic bed under soft lighting. Chill out in the Snow Grotto. Relax.
