I recently had the opportunity to join a fam trip on the stunning Celebrity Apex®, and from the moment I stepped onboard, I knew this wasn’t just another cruise—it was going to be something truly special. The service on board was nothing short of amazing. Our cabin steward, Jaime, made each day brighter by leaving creative towel animals in the room, something that brought out the big kid in me and became a little moment to look forward to. The cabin was always spotless, amenities topped up, and Jaime was always checking in to see if we needed anything else.
Across the ship, the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive. The bar staff remembered our orders, including the Sommelier who recalled our wine preference from the very first night. Dining staff went above and beyond as well. Amelia, a vegetarian, was thoughtfully guided through the menu each evening and even given a dedicated vegetarian menu to make her choices easier. It’s those little touches that make all the difference.
One of the highlights of sailing with Celebrity Cruises® is undeniably the food. Whether it was the café, buffet, or main dining, every meal was a 10/10 experience.

If you enjoy a good cocktail, the Premium Drinks Package is well worth it. The selection was vast, and the price ceiling was generous. It also included specialty coffees and premium teas at the café, including Tea Forté (worth £30+ for a box of 40)—so even for a tea lover like me, it felt like great value.
